Kiran Tasneem (b. 1991, United Kingdom) is an award winning artist.


Tasneem’s practice uses her multicultural identity to interrogate the socio-political aspects of cultural, religious and gender identities through photographic means. The work attempts to create a dialogue between the artist and the viewer whilst simultaneously exposing audiences to broader perspectives and global issues.


She studied BA (Hons) Photography at Arts University Bournemouth. Recent exhibitions include Contemporary Photography, GX Gallery, London (2016); Identity, Arts University Bournemouth (2015); Float Art, OXO Tower, London (2015); Connect 2 Colour, Lacey Contemporary Galley, London (2015). Tasneem received the Float Art Award in 2015, an award voted for by the public. She also won the Be Smart About Art Award in 2015.
